This was recorded in Havana in 1957 as the second in a series of Cuban Jam Sessions. Cachao first appeared on Volumen 2, along with Julio Gutiierrez and many other jazz musicians. These records were cut by Panart, which pretty much went down the tubes during Fidel's very long stay!
