This group of folks were having such a blast I wanted to join them. This is on St. Charles Ave. during the Zulu Parade, at about 9:30 in the morning, Mardi Gras Day.

Mardi Gras is the one holiday that's probably more important than any other holiday. (At least to the city of New Orleans...)
I was all over Mardi Gras this year, and I loved every second of it!! It helps that most of the parades pass near my apartment, too.
