La Niña de los Peines (Pastora Pavón (1890-1969) was considered to be the most important female flamenco singer of the 20th century. Most of her recordings are very scratchy! I tried playing with SoundSpectrum's WhiteCap visualizations, but obviously have not quite gotten the hang of it yet!
