Episode 2, Season 1 "Arthur's Spelling Trubble" (Part 2) Arthur practices for the spelling bee, competing against Prunella and the Brain, last year's winner and the smartest kid in his class, respectively. I attended the 2007 Scripps National Spelling Bee to cover a local girl, Ann Trachte, who was participating in the event. Ann is number 217 in the competition. I've included some of the spellers in the first round of the competition held at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Washington, D.C.
