This video shows how to apply an invisibleSHIELD to an HTC TyTN. The TyTN is quite "difficult" to shield, because he needs many separate shield-parts.
Nevertheless, it remains achievable - I also managed it in 15 minutes, without special crafting skills, and I am all fingers and thumbs.
Since we just got our hands on the HTC TyTN we thought we would share some initial photos of this unit. Stay tuned for more photos and a video overview of the HTC TyTN. The HTC TyTN II suffers from greatly reduced performance once using the touch screen.
In this video I domenstrate this by walking back and forth once using the D-pad and then back and forth once using the pen. As you can see the game slows down considerably when using the stylus.
HTCClassAction.org - Video showing OpenGL ES on the HTC TyTN II in action (really basic). Sorry for the bad quality - 'white flickering' is a problem of the test app, not of the OpenGL ES port!
HTCClassAction.org - Another video (proper, this time) showing OpenGL ES on the HTC TyTN II in action. Ghosting due to camera - it's smooth on screen.

Poor video performance on HTC TyTN II due to the lack of hardware acceleration through any generic interface (such as DirectDraw) is VERY evident when watching a full sized video clip such as this (XviD at a fairly low bitrate at 512x384 with MP3 sound.

My new O2 XDA Stellar running POINTUI Home - Demo
Here's a show of the camera in the TyTN II. For the first couple of seconds I'm "aiming" towards a brightly lit area. As you can see the fps is at ~20 which is kind of OK. (Though it still suffers from ghosting or slow response time). The problem is evident after a few seconds when I "aim" at a dark area. As you can see the fps drops to 2-3 fps. Al...
Comparing my new HTC Kaiser/Tytn II/tilt with my old qtek 8080/ HTC Voyager.
The HTC Voyager is one of the first Smartphone HTC made, and was released 2003.
My old Voyager is faster browsing the web than my new Kaiser. Somthing is wrong here, A Ti-Omap 132Mhz perform better than the Qualcomm 7200 400Mhz.
The lack of videodrivers are obvious.
