Slow down you crazy child
You're so ambitious for a juvenile
But then if you're so smart tell me why you are still so afraid?
Where's the fire, what's the hurry about?
You better cool it off before you burn it out
You got so much to do and only so many hours in...
First time in stereo: Ultravox musicvideo "Vienna", released in january 1981. This video is featured on the DVD "The Collection", but only with mono sound.
I removed the mono track and replaced it with the stereo track from the song on CD.
Here is what drummer Warren Cann said about making this great video:
"It may come as a surprise to know that...
Slow down, you crazy child
you're so ambitious for a juvenile
But then if you're so smart, tell me
Why are you still so afraid?
Where's the fire, what's the hurry about?
You'd better cool it off before you burn it out
You've got so much to do and
Only so many hours in a day
But you know that when the truth is told..
That you can get what...
Some pictures and videos from my tour of Vienna, Austria in 4th-8th June 2007. The music is "Gott erhalte Franz, den Kaiser" (god save Francis, the Emperor) of Joseph Haydn, the anthem of the Austro-Hungarian monarchy.
Yet another rarely seen clip of Ultravox doing their thing. It would be good to see these guys reform even if it was just for one gig, they can't hate each other that much!
Soloist Terry Wey singing "Standchen" by Franz Schubert with the rest of the Vienna Boys Choir.
A video panorama of Austria's capital, Vienna. Shot from the revolving restaurant in the Donau Tower. This video has been sped up, the actual time for a full rotation of the restaurant is approximately 26 minutes. Music is the Blue Danube Waltz written by Johann Strauss Jr.

Mozart's final completed sacred work was written on 17 June 1791, for the feast of Corpus Christi at the request of Anton Stoll, choirmaster at Baden where Mozart was visiting with his wife Constanze.

[LYRICS]
We're here where the daylight begins
The fog on the streetlight slowly thins
Water on water's the way
The safety of shoreline fading away
Sail your sea
Meet your storm
All I want is to be your harbor
The light in me
Will guide you home
All I want is to be your harbor
Fear is the brightest of signs

This is a picture montage set to music showcasing my trip to Vienna, Austria~ Home to the palaces of the Hapsburgs, the burial place of famous composers such as Beethoven, Mozart, Strauss, and Handel...just to name a few. This is truly a very "wealthy" and "clean" city. It all seemed so new, yet the history was evident. Marble fountains and stat...

Billy Joel!?!? I'm not too familiar with his music myself, but I really enjoy when the Carleton Singin Knights perform Vienna. This song was the encore at their Spring Concert... the last song this exact group will sing. Totally sad.
