for female voice (1965-1966). Luciano Berio wrote it for his wife, the singer. As part of his Sequenza-series, Berio explores the human voice as the instrument that it is. Swiss author Markus Kutter provided for the lines: "give me a few words for a woman to sing a truth allowing us to build a house without worrying before night comes"

I didn't really like the changes to Berio in DSJ (which carried over to Xross Scramble of course), but she still can pull her weight. She lost her cheesy corner trap with Holy Walls, her single target damage, but she gained more crowd control with her new Holy Wall and controllable Holy Splash.
