A space tourist from the US has followed in the footsteps of his astronaut father by reaching the international space station.
Russias Soyuz spacecraft has successfully blasted off as makes its way to the International Space Station. It was launched from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan on schedule at 11:01 Moscow time (15:01GMT).
