This is my PowerBook 1400c/133 booting from a 1GB AGFA Photo high speed (80x) compact flash card installed with a PCMCIA adaptor. It works very well and feels about as fast as the original hard drive that it replaced, and of course the machine now runs silently.
Here we see Steve Jobs introducing the 17" & 12" PowerBooks. The 17" was the very first laptop ever with a 17" screen. Also shown is the first ever Airport Extreme router with 802.11g speeds, which was also an industry first.
