Some beats with a 808 I still have the 808 and i am not willing to sell it. the Tr-808 has been modded for hardware accelerations. Feedback is appreciated. enjoy.

Playing with the loop points on the 777 synced to the TR-808, the percussion at the very beginning is the Monomachine.

Just the 808, pretty much

some fun with the ol' tr-808 and xtreme filter..

Old School Beat I maded with my new gear. The beat is inspired by the 1980s beats maded with the Roland TR-808. Created my own TR-808 program by carefully selecting samples to match the classic drum machine. I sampled the scratch from my buddy DJ Flare, which was from a Cuban comedian on vinyl.

Programming the Roland TR-808 using all 4 different pre-scales. And in the end a little demo of the manual fill-in.

Here is my TR-808's public video debut. I chose Marvin Gayes' Sexual Healing beat because I have CRAZY respect for the programming. The whole Midnight Love album is a prime example of the capabilities of this drum machine! My version is not exactly like the original, because the Closed Hat is very compressed and loud on the record. But it will...
