the interview.
[We made this in early 2004, before NBC's THE OFFICE existed, and before I had seen the original BBC version of THE OFFICE, although Jenna Fischer had, indeed, already auditioned for NBC, and in fact got a phone call while we were shooting that indicated she probably got a "series regular" part on the NBC show. The similar, faux-documentary shooting style, however, is a total coincidence.]
